What’s Up in The Philly Real Estate Market

YVH January 26, 2020

Background

This Sunday on the Your Valuable Home Replay, Lea, the daughter of Philadelphia realtor, Monic Wright, talks to Kevin and Ron about her search for properties she can acquire inexpensively and re-sell.  The Mike McCann the Real Estate Man weighs in on an online realtor referral gone bad, and offers great advice on how to select a realtor and price a home to sell. In our College segment, Mike gives us his take on the state of the Philly market, with tax abatements still in place and values continuing to rise 3% to 5% a year. Mike says it’s a balanced market friendly to all buyers from millennials to boomers.  But be aware of falling prices in New York.  They could signal a correction in the Philly market 6 months to a year from now.
